Does Greeley Furnace provide free estimates for equipment purchases?

The answer is yes - providing that the customer is honest and has no intention of wasting our time.

In the past, it was easy to answer that question with an unqualified yes, but it is a new market. The rules of the game have changed with consumers now able to buy equipment on the Internet as well as at some supply houses. Though it is highly unethical to use our specialists to size and propose projects, just so they can do it themselves, some consumers do this and obviously we must charge for our time.

Greeley Furnace salespeople are not paid commission and therefore we are paying them to advise our customers. We believe that the customer should provide us with an honest chance at a project, and the courtesy to let us know if we did not get the job and for what reason.

Just be honest with us and you need not worry, the following are some scenarios. That Greeley Furnace would bill for.
  1. Setting up an appointment and standing us up, if you can't make an appointment just call to save us the time and expense.
  2. If you are willing to have an unlicensed entity do the job without the legally necessary permits, whether that be a friend family member or shady contractor just don't call and waste our time, we will not do the job without permits and refuse to bid against those who don't.
  3. If you are doing the job yourself and are in need of advise on sizing or ductwork issues, be honest and willing to pay for that advice.
